about me

My Story

My name is Thibault, and I compose music for media.

My journey began over ten years ago with the guitar, at the heart of Corsican traditional music, my first major influence. Very early on, guided by my musical tastes and limited access to formal training, I taught myself to recreate film music pieces on the guitar, which greatly developed my ear.

Soon after, I joined bands as a singer and guitarist, and I’ve now performed in over 300 concerts, mostly in Corsica but also elsewhere. These years on stage gave me solid live experience — playing, managing soundchecks, mixing, engaging with the audience, and later handling communication and relationships with clients and employers — while allowing me to gradually finance my production setup: Mac Studio, Cubase, sound libraries, microphones, etc. This equipment enables me to create convincing demos while still having the capacity to record musicians and produce finished tracks when needed.

At the same time, I started early with beatmaking and electronic music production on FL Studio, and I have never stopped experimenting. Over time, my universe moved closer to orchestral and film music — the kind that moves me in movie theaters and video games.

After earning my degree in Musicology, I joined the MAAAV Master’s program (Applied Music for Visual Arts) to deepen my skills and expand my sonic palette.

Throughout my journey, various artists and musical worlds have accompanied me at different stages: John Williams, Flume, Bon Iver, Kōichi Sugiyama, Hans Zimmer, and Corsican traditional music. These references have shaped my musical language and continue to inspire my creativity, sometimes consciously, sometimes simply as guideposts along my artistic path.
